Traditionally, Google and their Nexus products don’t see much in the way of official accessories (and if they do, it’s usually 6+ months down the road). Another prime example of the lackluster accessory support comes at the unavailability of official docks for both the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. While we can’t speculate on the Nexus 10, we’ve known for a month or so that the Nexus 7 dock is right around the corner.
For those of you who haven’t heard, we will be kicking off the Android Show tonight at 6pm PST/9pm EST. You may recognize the name, as it was the brain child of Mr. Scotty Brown. Scotty Brown has been an avid Android evangelist and audio/video personality for quite some time and you may remember him from Android Guys, Radio Android and Rootzwiki.
Hey, guess what? T-Mobile “might” start rolling out LTE “soon” according to a source of a source who heard something at a CES keynote and now every news outlet on the net it applauding them. Seriously!? Should we applaud T-Mobile for joining the market two years later? I mean, Verizon has almost matched its 3G footprint with 4G LTE while T-Mobile hasn’t even gotten started yet.
If you were watching NVIDIA’s live CES 2013 webcast event last night, then you should remember the sneak peek of Dead Trigger 2 teased during Project Shield gameplay. Dead Trigger has remained an undead staple among Android gamers and the sequel to this hit zombie shoot ’em up now has an official press release.
The moment I’ve been waiting for: the unveiling of the ASUS Qube. This once dongle-like instrument has taken on an entirely new form while becoming ASUS’s first Google TV set top box.
VIZIO announced plans to bring to the market two new Android tablets: one 7-inch Tegra 3 tablet and one 10-inch Tegra 4. The 7-inch Tegra 3 model is similar to the ASUS Nexus 7, with features including a 7-inch 1280×800 IPS display, 16GB storage, 1.2MP front-facing camera, Android 4.2 and Micro USB. While I think it’s a bit late in the game for this particular 7-inch model, VIZIO looks to have a winner on its hands with their 10-inch model.
