The Urban Armor Gear series of cases for the LG G4 aim to protect and serve your mobile device in a virtual blanket of, well, urban armor. Designed from a patented lightweight composite consisting of a hard outer shell and a soft impact resistant core, this dual layer defense not only meets military drop-test standards (MIL STD 810G 516.6), but looks good doing it. Now, before I go into more detail, let it be know that I have always been more of an au naturel device kind of guy, but after a bit of time with the Ash colored LG G4 Urban Armor Case, I can tell you that this case won’t be coming off any time soon.
If you’re a fan of space or electronic music and you’re looking for a new case for your phone, then check this out. Google and Skrillex are teaming up to bring some pretty cool science to your phone. Today Google announced that Skrillex has launched a satellite named Nanou into the stratosphere. Nanou has been tasked with taking photos of the Earth from high in the sky. Not only are Google and Skrillex letting you take a look at those pictures, but they’re also bringing them to your smartphone in the form of live wallpaper.
It’s always a good day here in the community when we can get value products for less, and today’s deal revolves around one of my personal favorite accessory manufacturers, Spigen — which no one knows hows to pronounce. They have a sale going on over on Amazon where you can get cases for numerous devices around $3-6 a piece.
“Better late than never” they always say. If you’ve been holding off on ordering an official dock for your Nexus 7 in hopes it would eventually show up on the Play store, then today is your lucky day. If you head over to the Play store, you’ll find the dock is in stock and ready to be shipped — “soon.”
Traditionally, Google and their Nexus products don’t see much in the way of official accessories (and if they do, it’s usually 6+ months down the road). Another prime example of the lackluster accessory support comes at the unavailability of official docks for both the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. While we can’t speculate on the Nexus 10, we’ve known for a month or so that the Nexus 7 dock is right around the corner.
