Broadcasting app Periscope is now Available on Android

In March of 2015, Periscope was acquired by Twitter. Periscope is an application dedicated to live feeds. Users can watch live feeds and also host them. Viewers can comment during the live stream and like the broadcast with a simple tap of the screen. Tapping the screen gives the broadcaster more hearts which pushes them up in popularity. In the few months since Periscope has been relaunched for iOS, people have live streamed all kinds of things from concerts to weather reports and even training exercises.
Google and Skrillex Launch Cases to Show Fans our Planet

If you’re a fan of space or electronic music and you’re looking for a new case for your phone, then check this out. Google and Skrillex are teaming up to bring some pretty cool science to your phone. Today Google announced that Skrillex has launched a satellite named Nanou into the stratosphere. Nanou has been tasked with taking photos of the Earth from high in the sky. Not only are Google and Skrillex letting you take a look at those pictures, but they’re also bringing them to your smartphone in the form of live wallpaper.

Boy, oh boy, what a day. Today’s craziness all started at 7 a.m. PDT, when registration opened for Google I/O 2013. It was the usual Google clusterf****, with multiple issues ranging from error messages to Google Wallet disasters. It took about 55 minutes for the tickets to sell out, leaving those with Google Wallet issues, bank denials, and just plain infinitely spinning circles, furious. From the original Motorola DROID to the original DROID Incredible, this was the brand of phones that people flocked to if they wanted a phone outside of the iPhone, not just because of a great marketing campaign, but because these were top of the line phones. Ask most of the readers on this site which phone got them started on Android, and you shouldn’t be surprised to hear them say, “The OG DROID.” It’s an iconic phone that helped launch Android to the top.
