There’s no denying the fact that HTC has fallen from the good graces of the Android community and gone are the days of its once Nexus One royalty status. As sales, profits, and reputation continue to tank, HTC looks for a Hail Mary pass to get them out of the hole they’ve dug themselves into. That Hail Mary pass is the HTC One.
We’ve been here before: purported rumors for the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S IV. Last we heard, Samsung was going to be holding an event at an unknown location on March 15, and now, we’re hearing it will be March 14 somewhere in NYC.
We’re only four days away from the unveiling of the HTC One and that means we’ll be hearing plenty of leaked information and seeing plenty more leaked photos. One such photo is a supposed press shot of a black variant of the HTC One.
The land down under has just provided enough rumor fodder to keep us bloggers going for the next few months. According to Australian technology site Smarthouse, the elusive Motorola X will not only be a device that features “software never seen before in a smartphone,” but is also scheduled to be unveiled during Google I/O in May.
