I usually don’t post on purported renders of devices yet announced and thus didn’t post up the early renders of the HTC M7. However, I’d like to point out, I was disappointed by the renders as they painted a picture of an HTC device that looked a whole lot like an iPhone 5. Thankfully, the latest batch of purported M7 images look more like an HTC device and less like, well… a you know what.
If there’s any OEM to keep your eye on this year, it’s Sony. Sony has big plans for Android this year and you can already see the splash their making with the likes of the Xperia Z, and now, the Xperia Tablet Z. Just recently announced, the Xperia Tablet Z is a 10.1-inch Android tablet worthy of a top spot among the best.
While Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy S III on AT&T has been available for over a month now, it’s only been available via Samsung’s Kies software — which may or may not have been a big deal for you. However, if you’re the patient kind and prefer getting your updates OTA (Over The Air), it’s time to fire up your Galaxy S III and become a member of the Jelly Bean club.
It would appear LG isn’t too confident in their attempt at a mobile phone comeback as they’ve set their 2013 goal a bit low in comparison to other major players. LG will be happy if they can sell 75 million handsets in 2013, and of that 75 million, they’re only shooting for a goal of 45 million smartphones.
