Google Adds 70 new Partners to the Google App, now Including RunKeeper and Spotify

The Google app has become so much more than a way to search for information. It has become a virtual personal assistant. Google Now can show you what time it is at home, your flight information and even if there’s traffic on your normal route to the office.

Google has announced that Google Now will be even more useful in your life with the addition of seventy new partners. Now, along with all the other useful cards that you receive, you’ll soon be experiencing even more cards when you need them. Google’s new partners include Spotify, AllRecipes, ABC News, Zipcar, TuneIn, Eat24 and RunKeeper. You’ll also start to see Google Now cards from Wink, Jawbone, and so many more (for a full list of partners click here).

Google has provided many examples of the ways that these partnerships will help keep your life simple. For example, you can get playlists suggested to you from Spotify based on the time of day. Google also suggests paying your bill at dinner through the OpenTable card. News partners will show you breaking news when it happens so you don’t miss out on anything. All of Google’s new partners will make your life easier by giving you just the right amount of information when you need it most.

If you don’t have the latest version of the Google app be sure to go to the Google Play Store or click this link here. You’ll probably start to notice these awesome additions in the next few weeks as they pop up to remind you to lock your door, or go on a run.
