If you’ve been thinking about picking up the HSPA+ version of the Nexus 7, you might want to consider doing so before February 14th. If you head over to the Play Store, you’ll see AT&T is running a special promotion that offers customers willing to sign up for a 2-year agreement a $100 bill credit.
Sure, this might not sound like such a great deal to those of you trying to avoid contracts, or those of you who prefer tethering instead of incurring an entirely separate data charge — but that’s the point: this deal is for those looking to purchase the HSPA+ Nexus 7 not the WiFi model.
If you were going to purchase the HSPA+ model then you were going to have to activate it and sign a contract anyways, so why not save a few bucks?
