Jelly Bean Rollout for the LG Optimus G Begins, South Korea First on the List

If you happen to own a LG Optimus G, it’s time to start getting excited. It looks like Jelly Bean is on its way as LG has begun rolling out the Android 4.1 update to users in South Korea. Call me optimistic, but I don’t expect it to be very long before the rest of the Optimus G world starts seeing the update.

The LG Optimus G is, in my opinion, everything the Nexus 4 should have been. However, one of the Optimus G’s weaknesses clearly lies in its outdated software. With Jelly Bean right around the corner, the Optimus G becomes a much more enticing option (that and the fact that you can probably get your hands on an Optimus G).

If you opted for the Optimus G or are thinking about picking one up, this is surely some positive news and something you’ll want to keep your eye on.
