Deal: Google Play Offering Premier Episodes of Better Call Saul and Game of Thrones for Free
Google Play houses more content than just apps, games, and Nexus devices. If you look around you can actually download books, magazines, and even movies/TV shows. With devices sporting larger higher quality screens, entertainment on mobile devices has actually become enjoyable. Google knows this and has been working hard to increase their already extensive stockpile of quality content. Just recently, Google added one new breakout show to their collection that you may want to take a peek at.
If you head over to the Movies and TV section of the Play Store, you’ll be surprised to find quite a few free offerings by the Google Play team — over 80 TV shows in fact. One of those 80 shows happens to be the new show ‘Better Call Saul’. ‘Better Call Saul’ is the prequel to the critically acclaimed series Breaking Bad, that focuses around less-than-moral Jimmy McGill (a.k.a. Saul Goodman) before he became Walter White’s lawyer. The show just started airing on TV less than a month ago, so good on Google for picking it up so quickly.
Another free show being offered is already 4 season old but possibly the most popular HBO title ever: Game of Thrones. Now Google is only giving away season 1 episode 1, but they also have the rest of the 4 seasons available to purchase. Episode 1, ‘Winter is Coming’, will allow you to catch the beginning of the series to see if you like medieval-y times violence, war, and dragons enough to continue through the seasons.
Google is giving away both shows in HD format so be ready to push your screens to their limits. Head on over to the Play Store to download the two shows or to check out any of the other free content given by Google.
